HOW TO REMOVE THE DEFAULT HOME BUTTON IN BLOGGER

If you scroll down your page in browser, you will see a “Home” button. For me who loves putting the lists of my pages in my footer, I hate seeing that EXTRA  “Home” button there. So I thought on how to remove it, I went on Google and search and I found the answer. It is just a very simple steps to follow, but before you do these so called “SIMPLE STEPS” please make sure to backup your template before editing it. Less talk, here are the steps:

Step 1

Click “Template”

Step 2

Click “Edit HTML” under design tab

Step 3

Check the box “Expand Widget Templates”

Step 4

Find the following line in the HTML code area of your blog and delete it

 <data:homeMsg/>

After suiting yourself, don’t forget to save.
